This Benefit Estimator is an educational tool. It calculates an estimate of the Normal Retirement date and approximate benefits for regular state and local government members. It will not perform calculations for Hazardous Duty members or Elected Officials. It also does not calculate benefits for members who have elected the Step-Up option. The results are only as good as the information you put in. You will be entering some data about yourself. The system doesn't store the data but the data is transmitted over the Internet and this is not a secure site.
This estimator merely provides an ESTIMATE of my retirement date and benefits;
The Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) has no liability or obligation, either legal or equitable, to pay any amount as a result of using this estimator;
This ESTIMATE, including my assumptions concerning salary and years of service credit, is not to be construed in any way as a promise or contract with OPERS to pay the amount calculated, or any other amount; and,
All final retirement benefits will be determined by OPERS in accordance with the laws and rules in effect at the time of retirement.
